Face Paint Flower Design Tutorial

Face Painting Flower designs are popular among girls at any time of the year and on any holiday. Flowers can be added to designs with animal masks or unicorns, butterflies and even a sugar skull.
Today we will learn how to draw flowers in the technique of one stroke and double dip. Well, are you ready? Let's get started!

Step 1

For this design, I use the Fusion Face Painting Palette - Carnival Kit, the colors I will show you in the photo using the arrows. With an angled brush, I create the first layer of petals. I draw the petals in pink and purple, place them above the eyebrow. All designs look beautiful and easy if they are drawn to the level of the nose. Do not lower the lines very low to the chin.

Step 2

The second step is to complete the buds and add green petals. I place the dark green color on the outside of the leaves. They are directed in both directions towards the edge of the forehead.

Step 3

Next, I use a round brush and create petals in the technique of double dipping. Now I will describe this technique in more detail.

Step 4

To create triple dip flowers you will need a petal brush or any round brush #5 or #6. To start, you need to type white color on the entire brush - I used Prime Paraffin White Fusion Body Art Face Paint. I really like this white color for its bright, dense color and for the way it clearly draws a line. Then put the tip of the brush in a dry cloth or sponge to remove the white color. After that, apply a lighter shade of pink and then purple to the tip of the brush in turn. I take a brighter color on the tip of the brush for more contrasting color.

Step 5

The next step is to circle the largest flower in black, draw the middle, stamens.  In the green leaves, we add streaks for realism. We complement the design with teardrop-shaped leaves and dots where there are empty spaces and only in support of the direction of the leaves. If desired, you can make colored lips, girls love it :)

I hope you liked the floral design and decide to repeat it. We will be glad to see your options. In order for us to see your work, put the hashtag #fusionbodyart and #fusionbodyart_sbs
